Sustainable Printing: Partnering with the Planet at TI Group

Looking for ways to make your brand more eco-friendly? TI Group offers sustainable printing solutions that minimize environmental impact without compromising quality. We use recycled materials, eco-friendly inks, and innovative processes to deliver stunning results you can feel good about.

Sustainable Materials:

FSC^® Certified: We use Forest Stewardship Council^® (FSC^® ) certified paper, ensuring responsible forestry practices are followed (https://fsc.org/en). This offers a sustainable print solution with options for 100% FSC^® sourced material, 100% recycled content, or a combination of both. FSC^® also requires strict chain-of-custody protocols, ensuring materials are tracked and tagged throughout production.

Recycling Partnership: Partnering with Cascades Recovery+, we ensure paper and corrugate recycling. This closes the loop by turning recyclables into new sustainable paper products like tissue, paper towels, and packaging goods.

Eco-Friendly Inks & Coatings:

Vegetable-Based Inks: We use low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) and PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene)-free inks made from renewable sources like linseed, soy, and canola. These inks are easily de-inked during paper recycling, and even the ink cans are 100% recycled!
Recycled Waste Ink: Waste ink gets collected and recycled into fuel for cement manufacturing, diverting waste from landfills.
Aqueous & UV Coatings: Coatings used are all low or zero VOC, minimizing harmful emissions. Additionally, our in-house Floclear water filtration systems eliminate water waste disposal by removing copper, zinc, ink, phosphates, and suspended solids before they enter the drain.

Energy-Efficient Printing:

Kodak Sonora Process-free Plates: These innovative plates eliminate plate processing and baking, saving energy and water. They also eliminate the need for processing chemicals, reducing water usage throughout the printing process.
GREENGUARD Gold Certified Inks: Our Greenguard Gold certified UV inks meet stringent chemical emission standards, ensuring healthier indoor air quality for your finished prints. These inks meet certification levels for covering entire rooms, meaning they're safe for use in schools, healthcare facilities, and other sensitive environments.
