UPDATE TITLE

On Monday, March 7, 2016, the whole of TI Group – yes, every department! – gathered in our large warehouse space in 4 William Morgan for a town hall meeting led by our President, Peter Spring.

A big part of the town hall meetings is outlining initiatives that we are all currently working towards, as a company. These initiatives are ongoing, and always apparent in the day-to-day motives of TI. We are working on building up a management team that is interested in the continuing unification of the company. As one large company, it’s important to streamline and develop key ideas and increase our technological capabilities. We need a clear direction and to focus on our customers.

These initiatives are brought up and updated during each town hall so that everyone – from upper management to press operators to sales people – can understand the fundamental values of the company. As Peter said, “[we need to] create a better customer experience through superior expertise and customer service resulting in strong relationships”. Because as each customer looks for and expects, “we speak [their] language”.

One of the strongest statements made by the President was that “we do have more work to do, [because it] requires a lot of change” but his message was clear – we are prepared to put in the work to get the results we need.

Our new Director of HR, Lindy Petruniak, addressed the company for the first time and wanted each and every employee to see that her goal for getting to know TI Group is to understand our needs, build relationships and facilitate communications. Lindy led by making sure her personability was well known, saying, “talk to me, and tell me what you’re looking for”.

The VP of Innovation and Technology, Jason Hamilton, was last to speak, discussing the advances the company is making with the HP partnership, and the introduction of marketing strategies within our processes. As he said, “[it’s all about] doing more with what he have and streamlining the activities it takes to get it done”. With new machines coming in and new websites launching, it’s no surprise that there will be several open houses running in the month of May to show our customers exactly what we have in store for them.
